Across the road from bus stop coastal route to Berwick on Tweed & Newcastle via coastal towns and villages. 20 mins bus ride away from Alnmouth station with trains to Berwick and Edinburgh. I had a wonderful week there. "

"The couple who run this establishment are genuinely two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. We stayed in the Tack Room -which has self catering facilities if you wish to use them. However there is no need as a pre-ordered breakfast is delivered to your room each morning. There is a huge variety of choices the fresh fruit salad and yoghourt was great and also the full English. The small garden at the front is gorgeous and totally private .To say that the accommodation is clean is an understatement it is pristine and everything is provided in both bathroom and lounge area, kitchen and bedroom. Especially a good mirror with a socket near by to dry your hair which even good hotels fail to provide.! I could not think of anything they had missed. There is even a small wood burner for cool nights! It is exceptional and a few minutes walk into centre of Alnwick."
