"Hi, we stayed for two nights in the room on the first floor. Hotel atmosphere was perfect , especially at Q restaurant. But the room was very noisy in the morning I believe it was loading area and the window was covered with some paper so there was no city view either. Pool is very small. So if there will be three families with two kids each there will be no space. HK took ages to come to the room upon request. I think the hotel staff is using the name of the hotel cause this hotel is in the list for must stay but the service and the room is not worse it. Sorry."

"This place is a gem. The 2 bedroom 1 bath is the downstairs floor of a house and the hosts Kira and Chris live upstairs. There is workout equipment, a small Kitchen, Living Room with TV & Stereo, and sofas for lounging about in the common area. For the Hockey enthusiast there is alot of memorabilia showcased in the common area. Right outside the living area is a hottub ready and waiting. As the other pictures show, they have friendly pet chickens that free range in the yard, and may visit you if you are outside. While we were there, a male Elk was grazing around within 30 feet of us without a care. The hosts were VERY friendly and accomodating.. they have homemade beeswax candles in a variety of shapes custom-made by Kira and Chris makes a variety of homemade custom smoked meats that he can combine into a meat and cheese board for your eating pleasure. Compared to the other lodging choices, this was far and away the best value and will be our top choice of accomodations when visiting Victoria. Very highly recommended!!!!!"

"This is a very nice property. My only issue is that the staff seems to avoid the guests and are not generally available for help for things like when the coffee cups run out. We never met the hosts, which is unusual for a farm stay setting. You check in and get a key code via text or email. There are signs encouraging guests to walk around the premises and see the animals. But no map is provided indicating where the property borders are. Overall, a pleasant stay, but strange."
