"The VIP section of this resort is extremely quiet and serene. If you have children, the other side is good for them. The main pool had small children in it the entire time so it was nice to have an adult only pool on this side. The food at the restaurants is absolutely delicious. The dive shop has nice equipment and friendly staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"We spent six nights at Casa Ba-ooo at the end of September for our first visit to Curaçao. It turned out the be a more remote part of the island for visiting some of the smaller beaches and soaking up some peace and quiet. It’s next door to the awesome beach of Cas Abou beach.The property is gorgeous, and it’s clear that the owners care about every detail. The cottage is on the small side but it is about outdoor living. We were there during a heat wave so even though the upper deck has lots of sitting it was too hot to sit on the upper deck. We spent all our time on the lower area with the pool and covered cabana. We snorkeled everyday right from the property. The pool overlooks the water and it was the perfect spot for a nightcap and to see the beautiful sunset. You can walk down the street from the house to a salt pan and see some flamingoes. The bed was a little on the hard side for us and the kitchen is well-equipped, but the outdoor living space is truly next level. Angie and Don were super responsive whenever we needed anything. We did the set up with Angie for my husband’s birthday & she did a great job. We did one of Angie’s morning nature hikes. Might have been a little more nature than we wanted but she was great with her dog Jade. I used Anouk the masseuse who comes to the property - honestly one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had. I can recommend Cas Ba-ooo if you are looking for a relaxing and restful trip but don’t forget sunscreen & bug spray! "

"We stayed at this gorgeous house in Cas Abou and it was pure paradise! The place was spotless, with stunning views, comfy beds, and a kitchen fully stocked for easy meal prep. "Wow.. wow.. wow!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Don's cottages in Cas Abou. This was the perfect location to stay in Curacao to be able to explore he whole island for the week. We woke up every morning in a comfy bed with spectacular views right from the (optional open air) bedroom. Relaxed on the cliff side patio to enjoy the stars at night. Hung out with super cool wildlife right on the porch (iguanas, smaller lizards, exotic birds, And hermit crabs at night!) They have gorgeous art work, decor, corals, and succulents all over each of their cottages for eye candy. A kick ass plunge pool, outdoor shower and the private access to our own little hidden beach was a mega plus. Everyday we floated around in the cove and used the house gear to snorkel all around the house reef. We swam/snorkeled around the corner to the gorgeous Cas Abou beach and over to Playa Largo exploring some of the coolest and healthiest reefs and fish ever!!!! Besides the kickass accomodations... The highlight of staying with our Super Hosts Don and Angie were that they are the coolest people ever! They were always available via email/Whatsapp, and provided us with a wealth of information and recommendations for living it up in Curacao. This place and our hosts did not disappoint, worth every penny. "

"Brand new and modern-looking property. Incredible sunsets. Modern and well equipped kitchen, BBQ, plenty of space for 8 people in 4 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The 5th bedroom is on a lower level, and has no windows in the actual bedroom (but an adjacent mini-kitchen and sitting area instead).Unlike most villas in Curacao and even in Coral Reef resort, it's literally 5-7 minutes walk to the resort with beach, bars, restaurants, dive shop, spa etc.Loved it. Would stay again!"
