Wonderful apartment in the perfect location to explore one of Porto’s best neighborhoods. The apartment was beautiful inside, spacious and unique. This is a definite rebook next time we visit Porto.

Convenient location in Porto

Nice room on a quiet street, very close to the Trindade metro station. Very easy check in, with no need to speak to anyone.

Overall great place to stay. Excellent location. Bed in downstairs bedroom uncomfortable. Motion detector fan in the upstairs bathroom was not very effective. Every time we moved it would go on but when we stopped it would go off.

Highly recommended! The apartment had everything we needed and made the perfect base for exploring. The location is incredibly convenient for walking the old city and accessing the Metro (≈5 minutes to Trinidade, which is a major hub). Be prepared for lots of cobbled streets, steps and hills, but everything is within easy reach. A 15-minute walk (or more if you get caught behind the many walking tours) will get you down to the riverfront. The cafe at the end of the street is always busy with locals and tourists alike, for very good reason. Make sure to get breakfast there! Fresh pastel de nata and other tantalizing baked goods, great coffee and juices, and heartier options too. There’s also a good selection of bars on the square at the foot of the stairs at the right end of the street, which we discovered were perfect for people-watching with a glass or four of good, cheap local wines and beers. A spectacular number of great restaurants line the streets, including a welcome number of vegan and vegetarian options. If you’re lucky, the neighborhood cat will take a liking to you and meow at the back door for some company, and when it’s had enough attention it’ll rush inside and go to the front door to be let out 😄 When we visit Porto again, this is where we’ll stay.

Spacious in the shared spaces, close to all

Pros: wonderful mid-century modern style spacious place with a loft living room and vaulted ceiling, close to old town and plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Private, Outdoor patio and full kitchen. Cons: The communication to check in needs work in that I had to reach out with less than a day before check in and I was expecting to receive access code and instructions 48 hrs before. However when I did, they were very responsive on WhatsApp. Second bathroom is just a tiny room with a toilet and a tiny sink right next to the living room so get ready to have everyone hear you fart, so we all had to share the upstairs bathroom and shower. There needs to be some shelves and hooks in the upstairs bathroom for towels and toiletries as there's not enough space. The AC unit in the first bedroom has a super bright blue light that can't be turned off so I had to use a shirt to cover my eyes so I could sleep.

Perfect Porto Stay

Could not have wished for a more perfect stay in Porto. The accommodation is very comfortable and beautifully furnished . Also the location is very quiet and convenient. The friendly property owners are very helpful in providing excellent local knowledge and suggestions. Highly recommend this great place.

La camera era pulita ma l'armadio cucina ha bisogno di una sistemata. La macchinetta del caffè dava problemi con le cialde, se inserite normalmente cadevano nel vano di recupero o rimanevano incastrate. L’hébergement est très spacieux, bien équipé, propre. Seul bémol il n’y a qu’une seule salle de bain pour 4 voire 6 personnes ce n’est pas assez. Par contre il y a 2 wc. L’emplacement est idéal car on est proche de la rue commerçante et il y plein de restaurants bars pour manger. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Très bien placé mais quelques soucis

L'emplacement est idéal. L'appartement (Douro pour moi) est agréable et calme, mais le ménage n'était pas bien fait et il n'y pas de service quotidien contrairement à ce qui est indiqué. Par ailleurs un matin l'alarme à sonné non stop pendant 1 heure malgré au appel au numéro indiqué.

Not a happy experience.

We were unable to contact the owner by phone, or your 800 number, and we were unable to enter the property, forcing us to go to a hotel at over twice the price. We were NOT happy customers! The only good news is that, having notified you, we were not charged.

Difficult to get a good night's sleep

Paper thin walls so constantly being woken up when other guests came in. Had to pay in cash, which was not mentioned ahead of stay. Very hard to find. No receptionist so no help available. Unreliable wifi.
