Had a great stay at Decanting Porto House. Check in was easy and José was really helpful and very friendly. Suggested restaurants & directions to Ribeira. Our room was lovely, clean and very comfy. Decanting Porto is ideally situated, close to shopping good restaurants and easy to get to main attractions. Would recommend the hotel and Porto is a beautiful city to visit. Stayed 22-24 September.

We stored our luggage for several hours after checking-out. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is good, but no hot dishes like sausage or scrambled eggs.

Great stay

The hotel was a bit of a walk from the main touristy places, but I actually really liked the location. The nearby restaurants and pedestrian street were great, and I was close to the metro. The room was small and simple but it had everything I needed, including a nice little balcony. The service was excellent and staff were quite helpful. The port tasting and breakfast were also delicious!

This is a wonderful property but it is in the middle of the city! Some of the pictures may lead to believe it has a calm, relaxed outside area; not the case, but a delightful property. It has a great location to fabulous restaurants and activities. Perfect boutique hotel!

Great hotel in the city centre with incredibly friendly staff. You can walk to almost all tourist sites on foot. The transfer from the airport is super easy, just mind thatline E can be a bit confusing, as only every other train goes to Bolhão station.

Comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in Porto

Decanting is a nice modest place to stay. reasonable price, friendly, 24 hour desk, very pleasant healthy natural food type restaurant named 100 Culpa next door. 3 minute walk to Bolhau Metro station and 10 minute walk to Trindade Metro station. The early train to the airport leaves Trindade station at 5:58 am and arrives at airport in 35 minutes or so. It leaves from the first track (for some reason named Track 3!) which is about 50 ft from the front door so very easy access! Decanting is in an excellent location for walking around Porto. I walked out the hotel front door turned right and hiked to the river and a modern beautiful bridge over the Douro. From there east along the river road to downtown.Etc. Note: the hotel’s airport shuttle charges 30 Euros which motivated me to walk to Trindade Metro station.

Great, amazing hotel.

This hotel was amazing! From the moment we got there until we left. Much more than expected. The gentleman in reception (Nuno) was so nice and helped us with everything. From where to go, where to eat, shuttle to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would love to go back and I will 100% recommend to family and friends.

The man at reception was very friendly and always asked how we were and did we need any help or advice. Made us feel welcome. Good location, two min walk to main shopping street and metro station from airport. Good location overall for sights. Baggage store on morning of departure. Room was quite cold but was fine once air conditioning was whacked up.

Good city centre hotel

Very good hotel in the centre of Porto. Safe parking opposite the hotel 25 euros per night. Best housekeeping we have experienced every day the room was as good as the day we arrived. Breakfast not value for money, no black tea, only 2 bowls for cereal provided, had to ask for hot water. Silly errors eg no one told us how to use our room key to enter hotel resulting in us waiting outside to be let in.
