"I stayed solo a month ago. I loved it so much I came back to share experience with my husband. It is a beautiful and convenient location. Comfortable beds, clean room, and the staff are very accommodating. A very nice breakfast comes with the room. We had a balcony room. I highly recommend."

"We absolutely loved this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout. The room was spacious with a separate seating area and had a very comfortable bed with luxurious bed linen. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The garden area was an additional bonus; a great area for a drink or to make use of the swim in and out pool. Porto is a great city to explore - we can’t wait to return and would definitely return to the GA Palace."

"Great hotel. Staff at front desk was very helpful and gave us good recommendations on sightseeing. Located right next to metro station which made it easy to get into the old town quickly. Buffet breakfast is ok . There is a bakery next door with fresh breads and sandwiches."
