Great getaway

The apartment and location was great. Very quiet area. Park nearby for children. Convenient location for shopping and eating. The owner responded promptly to questions before and during our stay. Easy check in. Would stay there again!

Loved this little place, it was very clean and cozy, nicely appointed. Communication with the host was fantastic. This little place is 10 minutes from Beaufort and less than 5 minutes from the heart of Port Royal. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area! A previous review was not so nice about this property. I have no idea what they found so wrong, we experienced none of the issues the reviewer complained about.

Jabbar was very communicative and gave great suggestions on places to visit or eat. Wifi was great all amenities listed on Vrbo website are in the listing. the only reason I gave the check in process a 4 star was because I was given the wrong code to enter the home and we got there at a really late time so it was kind of an in inconvenience for us but as I said at the beginning jabbar answered quick and was able to give us the correct code to enter. thank you for making our stay calm and easy :) If you’re planning a Marine graduation stay this is a perfect listing to grab due to how close to parris island it is. Close to gas stations and food places. Ps : Try Wilkins Ice cream & Hearth pizza ;) !!

The place was overall ok. I had to contact the host through Expedia to get access bc there was some technical issues when sending it, so that was a bit stressful…. But not that big of deal. The couch was not comfortable and the painting that was behind it was so thick we kept hitting our head lol. The king bed was super comfy! Make sure and realize you are in the back place NOT the front, so don’t try and access the wrong door like we did 😂. It would have been nice to have some soda and waters in the fridge or ANYTHING in the kitchen, so just understand you need to bring anything you want to drink ahead of time. Overall it was nice. Price was good for what you got.

Disappointed

The pictures on the VRBO site were not at all like the property. The property is located in the back of a public basketball court/play area. We had to contact the host to receive the access code. The write-up of the property did not match the amenities. It listed 2 King Beds, one was a queen. There was hair and debris on the floor upon entering the kitchen. The Sheets and towels were wet in the washing machine. We placed them in the dryer and dried them so we had towels to use. The queen bed did not have a top sheet as it was in the washer. A throw blanket near the couch had what looked like baby throw-up or foodstuff wiped from its mouth on it. The trash basket had used cue tips in it. One night stand in the bedroom with the queen bed, its drawer almost fell off when I attempted to open it. The checkout instructions said to put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run it. There is no dishwasher. The icemaker in the refrigerator does not work. There was a leftover bag of ice in the freezer. There was no trashbin anywhere around the house into which to throw away our trash. The house rules we received mentioned stuff that did not pertain to this property. It mentioned that the weather in Tennessee can be unpredictable. The property is in Beaufort, SC.? We have stayed in many VRBOs in Beaufort, this one was very disappointing. We do not recommend it.
