Charming Gingerbread Cabin on Lake Okeechobee

Charming Gingerbread Cabin on Lake Okeechobee

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was exactly as advertised and the host was amazing! It was one of the most relaxing long weekends away I have had in a very long time and after explaining how badly I needed this getaway, the host went above and beyond to ensure that happened! It was the perfect setting for me to unwind from my day to day stress! The cabin is well stocked with cookware, etc, grounds well kept, and it was a quiet and serene setting! We made good use of the communal fire pit only steps away for s'mores. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and this particular cabin! The pool was located directly behind it, and you're steps away from the communal dock where you can fish or sit back and take in the beautiful sunset. (The ONLY reason I didn't give a 5 out of 5 for cleanliness was due to a minor item of the lanai not being thoroughly swept and one of the fry pans not being perfectly clean, which was likely due to a previous guest not thoroughly soaking it prior to putting it in the dishwasher. Everything else was perfect! If I could have, I would given a 4.5 star, as these things were trivial in the grand scheme of things.) And having the Dollar General right nextdoor to the property is extremely convenient for any incidentals you may have forgotten! Thanks again for a fantastic getaway!"
