LAYOUT & BEDDING
Open-plan living, all on one level. Three bedrooms, five beds, comfortably sleeps 4–6 and up to 8 maximum:
1× King bed – Master bedroom with ocean view, private ensuite, and towels provided
1× Queen bed – Second bedroom, sliding doors to the rear deck
2× King single beds – Third bedroom, sliding doors to the rear deck
1× Double sofa bed in the lounge
1× Foldaway single bed
Main bathroom at the end of the hallway serves bedrooms 2 and 3, with shower, vanity, bath, and separate toilet. Laundry includes washer and dryer.
THE SPACE
Renovated unit with a lovely beachside feel, stylishly decorated in an eclectic mix of family pieces and modern additions. Quality furnishings throughout.
Well-equipped kitchen with electric cooktop, Nespresso coffee machine, and Nutribullet available. Entry via the rear deck, which offers an alfresco dining area for 8 people and a Weber gas BBQ.
From the rear deck, step into the sunroom, dining area, and kitchen. A second TV is located in the dining cabinet so you won’t miss your favourite show while cooking. The kitchen flows into the large air-conditioned lounge area with ocean views. Large Smart TV for Netflix and On Demand streaming. Outdoor seating on the front veranda runs the full length of the unit.
A hallway from the kitchen and lounge leads to the bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, and the formal front door — though most guests prefer the easy access via the rear deck, just steps from the double lock-up garage.
PARKING / GARAGE
Guests have access to the entire property, including the garage. The garage fits two small cars side-by-side or one large vehicle. Free street parking available. Please do not block neighbouring driveways or workshops. Garage entry via a rear lane; the automatic door remote is kept on the kitchen counter.

A spacious, older style property but clean and fresh. Very comfortable for our family of six. Easy walk to beach and town. Close to many many restaurants and entertainment.
Includes single lock up garage with remote door access. There is also plenty of street parking.
Beautiful location with a complete house to your self
Excellent location over looking the beach,plenty of room with a house full of appliances extras .2 bathrooms,deck right along front of house ,which gets morning and afternoon sun.Close to cafes and shops ,great value for money for a family or 2 couples

Taranaki Beach House
Great location though we were disappointed as the pictures on the website were not a true reflection of the place. It looked modern, fresh and clean in the pictures but it was quite old, carpets were dirty and outside areas also dirty. We couldn’t open the door in the 3rd bedroom to get fresh air.It felt like it all needed a fair bit of a freshen up and quite a few areas needed maintenance.

Very dirty accommodation, a lot of mould in the bathrooms, visible dirt, dust , cobwebs, stained pillow cases and tea towels. Had clearly only had a superficial surface clean, needs a thorough deep clean throughout. Rusty chairs and tables on the balconies, rusty shower caddy’s in the bathrooms Only 4 glasses in the kitchen, 2 of which had been from Hungry Jacks! Broken airer dumped in the garden1/2 consumed jar of mini marmalade in the welcome packHappy to stay in dated accommodation but we do expect it to be clean.Very similar comments in the visitor book so very poor that previous issues have not be addressed.
