"Hotel is in great condition, great water views, and rooms are good side. My experience 1- first night had to call lobby to request fix the shower drain that was not working. 2- If you don’t have kids, the hotel offers “only adults” rooftop pool/bar, but there were kids, empty glasses, bottles, plates everywhere, used towels from guests who left were not removed by the staff, and food (appetizer) were not good at all 3- Italian restaurant offers great food and if you sit in the bar area, great life music aligned with the restaurant style."

"Let me start out by saying the host for this property was great. Accomadated most of our requests and went above and beyond. The property itself was clean, well-stocked, and spacious. Our group loved the canal access and overall location.The downside (and sadly in our opinion a real deal-breaker) was the misinformation on the listing. The listing clearly states a hot tub and heated pool. Upon arrival we were all quite disappointed to discover the hot tub is not in fact a hot tub, but was tauted as a "soaking tub" per the info sheet on the fridge. Which means the tub is the same temperature as the pool. As far as the pool being heated, it certainly didn't feel that way. The listing states the temp the pool should reach as well. Not once in our whole stay did the pool reach that temperature. Unfortunately this made it much too cold for most of our group to swim or enjoy at all. We are from the north and used to cold waters and even the kiddos could only swim for small amounts of time. I did contact the host and even though he replied he would turn the heater up for us, the temp remained the same. As a parent this was really frustrating, especially considering the amount spent to rent this home. If the owner had been honest and had a sense of integrity they would update the listing to accurately reflect the situation. If we had known we would have chosen a different place to spend spring break.I hope this helps others decide if this house is right for them."

Our two fur babies had the best time exploring the backyard and watching people pass by in boats along the canal—it was such a special experience for them.We were in town waiting to close on our new home, and staying here was the best decision we could have made. Instead of being confined to a hotel, we had the comfort, privacy, and freedom of a full home. "Wonderful heated pool gave a warmer reception than at my inlaws. 85 in mid April, gulf water temp 69. Clean, with loads of amenities and lots of towels. Convenient bath and laundry rooms near pool. Extra parking in grass across street. There are no sidewalks but area is quiet and seemed safe. Close to action and very convenient to visit relatives in Northport, Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda. Very family friendly and warm accommodations.We hosted a large Easter event with 16 of us staying and it felt like when i was a kid.The hosts are warm and friendly and so responsive.I cant say enough except thank you for the memories :)"

"I enjoyed a fabulous 5 week stay at this beautiful, clean and inviting home! The home was perfect with everything I needed including extra bedrooms to have various friends and family visit me during my stay. The location is truly the best! Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda are lovely and there are great beaches and more shopping within 30-35 minute drive. Sylvia and Mark could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Not only do I highly recommend this property, I liked it so much I have already booked for next year!"

"We’ve been coming to Florida for vacation for over 25 years, and this was the best-stocked house we’ve ever stayed at. Every kitchen staple and household good was provided with great care to ensure that basic needs (condiments, spices, drinking water, soft drinks, beer, wine, paper goods, trash bags, towels for home and the beach, coolers, fishing rods/reels, feeding/water bowls for our three dogs, etc…) were covered prior to arrival. Even the refrigerator was filled with wine, beer, and soft drinks, and snacks were graciously provided as well. The heated saltwater pool was great and also stocked with many pool toys for everyone’s enjoyment. The propane Weber grill was provided with two full tanks. The included tritoon boat was awesome for this first-time boater and provided several hours per day of great memories, fishing, exploration, and swimming for our entire family. Also, the water pressure in the showers and kitchen was absolutely awesome, making getting ready and settling down two things to look forward to each day. Communication was great with Eugene, as he addressed several questions we had over the course of our stay, both through texts and by phone. We had a phenomenal trip and look forward to returning in the not-too-distant future."
