Property was perfect for our weekend trip.
Loved the extra large back deck with both sun area and shade area.
Nice for tai chi in the gulf breeze.
The tall seating was comfortable.
The view of the entrance to Galveston Bay was constantly entertaining.
Tide always changing.
Ocean vessels queued for port entry.
There is a bird sanctuary at the shore with egrets spoonbills and other smaller birds.
Fort Travis nearby was an interesting quick stop.
A day trip to High Island Smith Oaks bird sanctuary was fascinating with a boardwalk up in the trees. (I am not a birder, but lots of breeding colonies, turtles, and an alligator!!!)
There is no clean swimming right at the property, but there is on Galveston.
And to the east of Crystal Beach, the highway ran right by the long clean deserted shore at high tide with high wind.
So for us the location and property were perfect.
