Such a fabulous home!

Wonderful trip celebrating Mom's 80th bday! Great location to explore Olympic NP. Plenty of room for everyone, indoors and out. Best stocked kitchen of any short-term rental we've EVER stayed at. We loved the views & house design. It truly felt like we were staying in someone's home. Highly recommend!

An Amazing View!!

This beautiful home has everything one can need. The view of the water withe the mountains in the back is amazing. We had breakfast to this in the morning and watched the sunset in the evening. Plenty big for our 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our dinners and the outside yard was a big hit with the kids. They even have a swing set!!! The home was very clean and quiet at night. The hot tub was great after a long days hiking. Can’t say enough about this home!! Would definitely stay again.

Port Angeles Stay

Extended family of 13 stayed here and had a great time. We loved the house and the beautiful views. Great access to Olympic NP.

Great destination with great accommodations

We loved our stay at this location and the easy access to all the things in the vicinity of PA. The house is inviting and beautiful to relax at between adventures.

Annual vacation with the kids and grandkids

This is our 3rd year in a row staying here. It’s a great house with a magnificent view. There are lots of things to do near by for the grandkids.

The location was great, plenty of space for everyone to sleep and to park. Easy access to the park, kitchen well stocked, we would definitely stay here again.

Delightful place

This property met out needs very nicely. The design and craftsmanship of the home was much appreciated by all. Trampoline and playlet in the yard were thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. Loved the luxury of heated bathroom floors. The kitchen was very well equipt and a pleasure to cook in. Great location and view.

Great house, beautiful yard

We enjoyed our week-long stay at this beautiful property. The house worked perfect for our family and was in a quiet neighborhood. The yard is beautiful and our children enjoyed playing in it. Would highly recommend!

Lovely house w/ view and plenty of amenities.

Our 3 families (group of 11) enjoyed this house. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked w cooking utensils and spices. The kids enjoyed the yard and trampoline.

Great Family Place

We really enjoyed our time at Alder Street Retreat. We were on a family vacation with small children and it was so equipped with books, toys and an outside play set. The manager was quick to respond. The view was beautiful with big windows. We would even see deer. A great stay!

Our stay in Port Angeles

The rental was perfect for our visit. 4 bedrooms upstairs and a huge downstairs area with an additional bedroom. Beautiful yard with lots of play equipment and trampoline. Gigi, the property manager, was super in every way. We would definitely rent this property again!

Perfect Family Vaca Home

The house layout was perfect for our entire family.Large well stocked kitchen, pantry, bathrooms and laundry room. The large backyard with fort, swing set & trampoline was great for the kids. Stunning views from the kitchen and den were amazing. The layout gave several families plenty of room and privacy. We couldn’t have been more pleased.

Fit family of eight adults with a view and a hot tub!

My family of eight adults was in town to spend time with extended family. We have stayed at this house before and rally enjoy it. It is very comfortable, well equipped, has a big back yard, a hot tub and a view of the water. It sits in a nice neighborhood close to town. We would definitely use it again.

Holiday Stay for My Family

From the moment we entered the Alder House we felt completely at home! Gigi, our property manager, made sure everything was in order with easy to understand instructions and had even decorated for Christmas! Every bedroom and bathroom was tidy and comfortable. The great room and open kitchen were fabulous with amazing views of the Strait, harbor and even Victoria on clear days! The hot tub was an added bonus. We would absolutely stay here again when in Port Angeles. The best VRBO experience EVER!!

One of the best places we every stayed

We can't say enough great things about this property. 1) All the bedrooms were very comfortable, all the bathrooms well stocked. There are 4 bedrooms on the main floor and an almost an entire separate house downstairs, more than enough room for our group to spread out. 2) Without question the best-stocked kitchen in a rental. We cooked ourselves several excellent meals on the grill outside and the excellent stove. 3) The open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen organized around an electric fireplace is maximum cozy! Fantastic views of the water all the way to Canada. Deer walking up and down the street and in the backyard. A little slice of heaven. If you have a bigger group and want to stay in Port Angeles, this is the place for you!

Lovely place for a family

We had a wonderful family vacation here. The house is expansive, has a great layout, and was generously furnished with everything you need. The kids (age 3 and 7) had to be coaxed into leaving anytime we wanted to go on an outing, because they enjoyed playing in the yard so much. Adults weren't much better, because the patio is just made for Happy Hour. Communication with the property manager was easy and gracious, and I wonder if she ever slept because she always responded within minutes. We would love to go back again.

Home with amazing views

This property has it all. We had a group of 9, which included two families with adult children. There were tons of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with literally everything. We had contacted Gigi that we didn't see a toaster and she immediately dropped one off. Everything was super clean and so inviting. We also enjoyed sitting on the back patio, which had a wonderful landscape and gardens. The views from the kitchen, dining and upstairs living area were amazing looking over the port. It was so beautiful at night as well viewing the lights over the city and port. Gigi was a wonderful property manager and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend guests staying at the Alder Street Retreat!

THE BEST!

I can not say enough nice things about this home! We were 4 couples on a hiking trip to Olympic. This home is centrally located to everything we did and very close to town. But the main thing is the beauty of this home with the sweeping views of the ocean. The home was so well equipped compared to many other rental homes we've had. It was like we moved into a friend's home. The family who owns it must be very generous and trusting! Soooo many nice things--well stocked kitchen, soap and shampoo in bathrooms (WITH HEATED FLOORS!), laundry detergent--we couldn't ask for more! The great room was comfy and perfect for gathering--with a Yamaha piano, no less! The backyard had fun for all ages--delightful patio, garden, swings, trampoline. The property managers were easy to communicate with although we had no problems. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental!

Excellent and well-stocked home for large group

We thought the photos don’t do this house justice, it’s very nice and we’ll-appointed. We had 11 people stay here over Thanksgiving (4 kids, 7 adults). The layout is great so that we could hang out in the living room and kitchen and not disturb little ones sleeping. It’s about as well-stocked as any place I’ve ever stayed! Not only we’re there tons of extra pillows/blankets/towels, but they had enough supplies for cooking and serving a huge meal for 11. The checkin was simple, but I made a mistake and almost immediately locked us out. (The doorknobs were all locked so even though I had undone the deadbolts I’d missed that.) the property manager had to come and help, but she was very nice about it. Trampoline and hot tub were a hit, views are lovely, and it’s a pretty neighborhood to walk in. We’d definitely stay here again.
