"This is just an easy train hop from Florence. Empoli is adorable. If you would like a spot from where you can head out to anywhere in Tuscany, this is a great spot. It has a lovely balcony and Tatiana and other staff where very nice and helpful. "
"Very basic lodgings - simple but good location between Florence & Pisa. Breakfast place right underneath the rooms made breakfast convenient. Parking was super simple & across the street, which is rare in Italy. "
"A true hidden gem!!! Agriturismo Casetta has great amenities, a beautiful pool with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan Valley. Their restaurant's food and drinks are also amazing and their staff were very professional and kind. We will come back to Agriturismo Casetta in the future. "
"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property).
The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view.

"Claudio the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The entire staff made us feel warm and welcome. The property was beautifully situated in the Tuscan hills. We had two dinners at their restaurant. Both were exceptionally delicious. We were fortunate to be there during grape harvesting and to also enjoy some of the best Chianti wine I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend Agriturismo Streda to anyone wanting to tour Tuscany!"
"Nice bed and breakfast, situated in a really very nice location on a ridge of the first hills outside Florence. Large and rustic rooms, but very functional and comfortable. very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast very rich in choice. Big parking for guests."

"Our family of 4 were welcomed with a warm smile and lots of attentiveness from Giulia. We stayed in a cozy 2 bdr farmhouse apt equipped to cook in. We arrived by train to the station at Montelupo. Giulia recommended a few taxi drivers for us and the ones we had were so friendly. I would recommend renting a vehicle to drive to/from the property as taxi rides can be quite expensive. Giulia was fun and very knowledgeable. Always available to answer our questions and really strived to make sure we were satisfied with every aspect of our stay. We had a private breakfast with Giulia and Vanessa. We also did a fantastic wine tour/tasting with Giulia. One night was a magnificent dinner in town and the other was a sunset dinner in the main building. Both were excellent! This place is a hidden gem in a beautiful setting. Peaceful/serene and the best service. "
"5 star 🌟 Hotel.
The location, the condition and the amenities are perfect for 2 peple or for the entire family.
The location it's just about 30 minutes from Florance, 45 minutes from Pisa or any city in the Tuscany area."

"We brought a group of first-time international travelers to Villa Bruschetti, and it was absolutely perfect. The villa itself is full of historic charm—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Each room was thoughtfully appointed, and the grounds were stunning, with peaceful views in every direction. One of the best parts was the excellent location. It served as the perfect home base for our many day trips to enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside—Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Vinci, and more were all within easy reach. After each adventure, we returned to the serenity of the villa to relax, and gather over shared meals. Our hosts were warm and attentive, helping us with every detail to ensure our stay was smooth. This was a truly unforgettable experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend!"
"Good place but there was some construction going on in the building which was annoying and too far from all tourist locations.since we dint have a car , we had to travel everywhere via train which is walkable from this location.food/grocery options are pretty less."
"No one on full time duty and we were lucky that we arrived when the attendant happen to walk in. ( No prior notice or anything publicized about this other than check in between 3 and 6 p.m.) Rooms did not have any cups or bath soap. Room was very modest and simple. Towels were old and need to be replaced. "
