"Great place to stay. Modern and nice. A/C great. Beds comfy. Staff incredibly nice. This was our last hotel after two weeks of travelling in Italy. We picked it simply because it was closer to the airport. The town of Ostia is one of the original port cities of Rome and we discovered the ruins. We spent 4.5 hours walking through them and still had lots to see. The beach is just across the street from hotel so if that is your need, this hotel solves it. Food in the area is WAY less expensive than anything in the more touristy areas. Menus only in Italian in the restaurants we visited which points to locals-focused dining: no tourist prices. Lastly, they have a shuttle! There is a cost attached but way cheaper than a cab ride. They pick you up at the airport and drop you off with advance notice. My advice is to stay here, hit crowded Rome during the day and come back here for your calm evening dining."
