"This felt like staying as a guest in someone’s home. Hosts Alessandra and Guido are very welcoming. The property is so beautiful overlooking the valley with mountains to the side. We did not know there was a pool which was a fantastic surprise as we arrived in a heatwave. Dinner was a delicious pork chop on the first night and roast beef on the second. "The hotel itself was fantastic, and I love the energy that the hotel restaurant and bar invites (especially on the weekends). However, it felt too far from the city center of Florence and the buses don’t run late at all in Poggio a Caiano, so be mindful of that if you do not have a car. The room was nice and the staff was friendly, just a little inconvenient by public transit. "
