"The room is full of character and location could not be better. The room and bedding were very clean just keep in mind the building is old with beams and gorgeous but suitcases can be heavy climbing the stairs. Very nice buffet."

"Being my 3rd time here I was hoping for a friendlier experience. With the staff there was no connection even though I tried to open a dialogue with a gentleman at the front desk. The only person who treated me with a little warmth was the women who runs the kitchen. This was my favorite hotel anywhere but now it’s a decent hotel with a great view that you pay for. The one thing I enjoy is the free breakfast and the recollection from the women who runs the kitchen. "

"There was no working light outside the hotel main door, dark at nite going up the stairs. Room smelled probably from bathroom. There was a lot of constituents materials right ousting visible from window and coming into building. Ad on hotel.com website showed a room to a bay view. This wasn’t the case"

"We really enjoyed staying at Mont St Michel. It was great to be there in the morning prior to any crowds. The room was clean and bigger than we expected. Finding the check-in and locating the building with rooms is the biggest issue. Make sure that you have excellent instructions and read them over many times to avoid confusion at check in. "

"Lovely property with stunning views over open countryside down to the sea. Lots of wildlife around, incredibly peaceful location. Mechelle was a lovely host, easily contactable.The house was clean and comfortable. The pool, football table and table tennis kept our boys well entertained."

"This charming little house was perfect for my husband and me (there were two more beds we didn’t use). Very clean, nicely appointed, easy to access and responsive owner. It is exactly as pictured on the website. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely rustic country property. Everything you could possibly need for long or short stay. Very comfortable beds. Perfect location for all local attractions and places of intereat. Lovely to sit outside in the evengs and have a drink on the patio whilst watching the birds eat anything you may put on the lawn for them!!! Would 100% recommend this property. "

"Beautiful old manor, impressive entry to the property. In need of cleaning and extensive maintenance. Beautiful grounds, lots of greenery and extremely lush. Room was very small, but worked. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent. Overall would recommend and would stay again, but would love to see the owners do some overall repairs."
