"Breakfast was good. Nothing impressive, but good and enough to start the day. The staff was helpful. Linens were not very clean, and the furniture was worn out and dirty. There doesn’t seem to be enough parking spaces either - on one night I chose to take Uber because I got a feeling that I would lose my spot, and in fact, when I returned, not a single spot available close to my room. It’s an ok hotel. The staff being nice helps. I stayed here several years ago and I can stay again if the price is right."

"We’ve been to terranea multiple times and this one sadly will be our last. I reached out regarding the not so great stay, and no response. We checked in and there was a large baby crib in our room. We called multiple times for them to remove it, it sat there for both nights, not until I asked housekeeping when they came to the room for cleaning did someone actually remove it. Service was also terrible. We got there and wanted to just lay by the pool and watch the view and we asked a server knowing the bar closed by the pool in 30 minutes if we could get in a quick drink order, she dismissed us saying she’d return to take our order and never came back, and then we were told we had to go somewhere else to get drinks. Dinner service at one of the restaurants took so long, we never said a word, they took half off the bil. Breakfast on the final day, was a bit chilly but being from Chicago we wanted to enjoy outside. I asked the host if the heater outside could be turned on, she said of course, we also asked our server, who once she took our order was never seen from again, this was a buffet breakfast and only after almost an hour and a half later someone came running out with all the bills apologizing. This was bad, on all levels. We stayed at the maybourne in Beverly Hills, and that’s what real customer service should look like. I never leave reviews but they just don’t care at terranea it’s about volume and money for them, definitely not about people."

"The hotel left a mixed impression. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the property itself feels worn out and clearly in need of renovation. It seems that part of the ground floor may be used as social housing, with all the consequences that come with it. Because of the very poor sound insulation, I would not recommend staying here with children. The area also did not feel safe or trustworthy. Breakfast was especially disappointing: during all 10 days of our stay, the menu never changed fried eggs, sausages, bananas, apples, oranges, frozen fruit, bread, two kinds of donuts, and waffles. It may be acceptable for a short stay, but not for a comfortable family vacation."

"The AC did not work, room smelled musty. The bathroom was remodeled but the shower floor was slippery. I recommend grab bars to be installed as I almost fell. Location is prime store and restruants easy walk. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Terranea. The villa is located in the perfect spot where you feel remote yet part of the resort at the same time. The shuttle service provided to the main resort was easy to use as well. The kids enjoyed one of four pools and the slide. The fitness center was great. We scheduled free pickleball and the shuttle service took us to the offsite (but close) tennis club. Cleaning service that is included was also fantastic. Highly recommend! "
