"Hotel location is great to arrive in Lima and then to travel next day to other cities by plane, fair price, clean and good breakfast. Check in is very slow, even we preregister at the airport there was a lot of line and very low movement, two times we went thru this process and we lost about 30 min, each time to check in"

"The check in was effortless and quick, once I provided my IHG membership number I was thanked for being a member. The room was spacious, clean with a large bathroom and a shower that had great pressure and hot water. We had dinner in the restaurant which was fabulous and the breakfast was varied and delicious offering a variety of fruit, breads, meats, cheese and a couple of hot dishes. We were offered eggs to order but were happy with what was on offer. The staff at the hotel was wonderful, everyone wanted to ensure that we were properly serviced. We took the shuttle to the airport which left promptly at 8:30 and the driver helped us with our luggage. A very positive experience and we would definitely return."

"Dint even get to check in as the front staff was to rude and wanted to fight us on all topics . No real manager to speak of . We then asked for a phone number and name of manager to at least call to get some answers and they refused . Hotel not in good shape and not as advertised. Shaddy location and staff. I would not recommend booking or staying here . Even refused my refund for the stay . Luckily expedia did back us up and refunded us with there credit system . Good enough I guess... thanks expedia... booooo Amara hotel "

"Good and bad things:Bad: - Smell of mold in the apartment - Sofa bed is really small, meant for a small child. They also did not have bed sheets for the sofa bed even though we made it clear we would be using it - I booked because of the pool and gym. You have to book and was never able to use it during our 4 night stay- only provided 2 towels for 4 days and 1 roll of toilet paper- neighbor upstairs played music super loud until early in the morning, 3 am, I had to get up and tell security until it stopped. Only happened one night.Good - the bed in the main room was big and comfortable - the neighbor is close to many attractions - the host is quick to reply and provided good suggestions for tourists "

"My one bed room was medium size and clean. It had a mini fridge, and flat screen TV. The bathroom towels are very nice. Breakfast was basic continental scrambled eggs, rolls, sliced cold cut meats, cereal, milk, three choices of fruit. Coffee and tea. There is a restaurant and small bar with TV on the sixed floor. That's were breakfast is served. I don't like all the noise from the TV and bar it makes it difficult to sleep. The hotel needs to have a quiet time after 9:00pm. The rooms need sound proofing."

"The room served is needs for the price. Washer worked just fine. No dryer. Be prepared to air dry clothes. Great value buy. "
