"Ideally situated for Aintree racecourse and railway station 20 minute walk. Restaurant has a nice ambiance food very good, both breakfast and evening meal. Nice bar area serving cocktails, not much choice of real ales and serving bar meals. Bedrooms need bit TLC they have tried to provide everything but packed it in. Ironing board in wardrobe so then you can’t have clothes in it. Fold up case rack but if used you it you would be squeezing by it as room not big enough. Safe not working notice suggests all safes in the hotel have been disconnected. Housekeeping leaves a bit to be desired they let the hotel down compared to reception, restaurant and bar. Not much in the surrounding area. I would stay again if visiting the races."

"Parking is directly outside the building. Rooms were clean, bathrooms could do with a bit of work as quite dated and not as clean as would be expected. Stadf for check in were polite."

"False advertising - The images on the website do not match the reality (see attached photos). This isn't a minor difference it is incomparable. What is being advertised here is not actually what you get. Cleanliness - the accommodation was unclean, in fact it was the most unclean accommodation I have ever been to. (see attached photos). There where bags of rubbish on the outside area, flies, dirty rags and rubbish left in the property. Safety - The front door to the accommodation block wasn't locked and couldn't be locked meaning anyone from the street could walk into the block. The apartment itself also was not locked upon our arrival we pushed the door and could just walk in. (There was a key to lock it and a latch but upon arrival but again it didn't show it was a safe and secure place for me to stay with my young son)."
