"If you are going to visit the Osa Peninsula, this is a great place to stay. We loved the small casita with abundant wildlife. We are backpackers and RVers, so bringing all our provisions was no problem for us. You’ll have two miles of black sand beaches almost to yourself. A sea turtle sanctuary, more monkeys and macaws than you can count. Beto, who maintains the property, is an added treasure. We feel like we made a friend. We can’t wait to come back. "

"We had a great stay! The team is amazing, the food was delicious, and the view from the room was incredible. The hotel location was close to the beach and nearby restaurants. Be prepared for steps though as it's a bit of a walk up to the rooms."

"Room was clean although the bed was fairly soft & a little uneven. Unfortunately we were right by the pool with the pool towels (clean & a dirty basket) was by our door so people were often right by our door. Once we returned and a lady was holding a towel up so the other woman could change in front of our door! Talking from those at the pool went right through the window glass. There was supposed to be a 10 pm quiet hour but our neighbors didn’t pay attention to it. On the good side, the staff was very helpful with setting up taxis & tours as well as general info. Breakfast was adequate with a choice of 5 meals."

"The bungalow was beautiful. We loved the pool, complete with waterfall and outdoor kitchen with a working sink and gas grill. "

"We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the lodge buildings are very sympathetically designed, and blend well with the surroundings. Everywhere is very clean and maintained to a high standard. We loved sitting on the bar stools and watching the monkeys and morpho butterflies. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful, and assisted us with booking excursions. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as were the cocktails! We loved the quirky bed in our cabin, and enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching all the wildlife in the creek below - juvenile caimans, turtles, lizards, dragonflies, and my absolute favourites - hummingbirds. Listening to the orchestra of sounds at night was at night was fantastic! We did a night walk and we're amazed at our guide's knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to spot creatures that we would never have seen without him! The trails within the grounds are easy to follow, and there is so much to see - including the resident sloth - ask the staff and they will point him out to you. I was thrilled to see so many hummingbirds. Danta Corcovado Lodge is a great place, and all staff work hard to ensure that guests are well looked after and enjoy their stay."

"Our stay was beyond our expectations! The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The property was absolutely stunning. Our bungalow was perfect, clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed being disconnected from the outside world and amercing ourselves in nature. The hiking trails, animals and beautiful ocean was truly a gift. Thank you to Joel, Olga and Henah! "We both share part of miscommunication at check in, since we arrived at night and they don't have frint desk at this hour. And we didn't tell them about our arrival. But everybody just move so quickly to fix everything for us even the owner phone us from out of the country to ensure everything was ok. Road was not good, but driving was ok, hour and a half from Puerto Jimenez. Rooms are big. Rest rooms are in the room, but kind of out in the open. NO AC. But fans, electricity is by solar panels, so its limited. Area is amazing and beautiful, lake nearby and kayaks, horses. NICE place into the jungle. "
