"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. "This house had such amazing wildlife viewing we hardly ever left. that combined with the lovely pool, scenic walks and open air showers. We saw squirrel monkeys, toucans, macaws, capuchins all from our balcony and walks around the house we found kinkajou and tyra along with a host of other species. "This is an amazing property in Matapalo in the southern tip of the Osa Peninsula. The house itself is beautiful and well kempt. We experienced hours of enjoyment watching monkeys, tropical birds, pizotes, cuatis, fireflies and other beautiful creatures pass through the yard. Wow! Kirk is a great host and he has a wonderful staff including Willian who helped us with our daily needs and took us on a tour of Corcovado National Park. We had an awesome visit!"
