"The pictures looked nothing like the resort. The resort was run down, every lounger was broken, hammocks had holes etc. The room was not the cleanest- mirrors had a thick film, perimeter + corners all had debris. The food in the pictures did not exist and in fact the food was awful! It was the same everyday, beans rice + meat. The view however was amazing, the staff was great and the drinks were nice and stiff. "

"Very nice property, the owners have it well furnished throughout with lots of kitchen, laundry items and beach furniture that doesn't typically come included. You don't feel like you are in a rental, you feel like a friend lent you their beach house. Very comfortable stay in a modern, clean facility with an excellent beach view. "

"Our family had a terrific time at this lovely property. The beautiful gardens were full of iguana and butterfly sightings and it’s just a 3 min walk to the beach. The included breakfast was quality and the rooms were simple but clean. Our kids loved the pool and we adults found paradise sipping the pina coladas delivered poolside. The private exited parking was also a plus as were the super friendly and helpful staff. Great find! "

"I don't often leave reviews, but we really enjoyed our time here. This was our last of 4 stops on our 9 day vacation across Guanacaste. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the street and a convenient store is a 5 minute drive. Last but not least the staff at Sueño were incredibly pleasant and made the last leg of our trip a bit more enjoyable. Ronnys singing was top notch and Veronica helped us out a ton with information about the area. Many of the other patrons in the restaurant seemed to know the staff well and clearly had come back many times. If we to travel back to Guanacaste, we will be stopping in again too!"

"We had a beautiful stay at this condo. Our kids loved the pool & the supplied toys/floats. The beach was perfect & peaceful, we enjoyed snorkeling by the rocks (and even saw a few rays). The condo was very well stocked and the house managers were incredibly responsive to our needs. We hope to come back again! "

We got a room that had several issues and didn’t match the pictures, so if you get assigned room 707, considering asking for a different room. The hotel did provide some comps for the condition but overall our experience didn’t match the price tag of the hotel. "
