"We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location, the room, the pool, the staff were all very good. We saw some very negative and very positive reviews and so we were very curious about how our stay would be. We are Marriott Platinum Elite Members and this property is not one of the finer Marriott properties, but it could have been a nice Marriott property with all of the amenities. We were very pleasantly surprised. We will stay here again."

"Nice swimming pool, staff friendly and very helpful. Kitchen very well equipped and functional. Location great- Very close to a beach, national park entrance and bus stop. Unfortunately there is a plumbing issue so there was often a nasty smell by the poolside and both toilets in our rooms didn’t flush properly."

"Five stars for the overall experience, location, and especially the staff, even though the actual accommodation is quite basic. The main listing makes it sound like this is a whole house, but it’s actually two completely separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and no connecting door between the two, then the kitchen and seating areas are outside. (This is more obvious in the detailed description if you click through and read the whole thing, but could be clearer in the main description and photos - it worked fine for us but might be difficult if you’re travelling with children who are too young to be in their own separate suite). The seating area wasn’t the most comfortable and it would have been nice to have a safe for valuables, but other than that, no complaints - it’s not fancy but it’s great value for money, and very nice to have a kitchen and access to a pool! We saw toucans every day and enjoyed meeting the resident cats. The staff were fantastic and helped us out with a minor first aid issue and even with a communication issue we were having with our next hotel."
