"Absolutely amazing stay at Marala Hotel! We booked their best Premium Suite, and it was 100% worth the splurge. The property is gorgeous, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and made our Costa Rica trip feel extra special. The suite itself was incredible and absolutely lived up to the premium experience. One tip: having a car in Costa Rica is a must! We had a 4WD truck, which made exploring so much easier and gave us the freedom to go wherever we wanted. Beautiful property, incredible suite, and an unforgettable stay. I would absolutely return, and highly recommend treating yourself to the Premium Suite. Worth every penny!"

"Our stay with Costa Rica First Class Villas was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the team made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at home.The staff is incredibly responsive, genuinely friendly, and goes above and beyond to make every detail of your stay perfect. Their level of service truly exceeded every expectation and made our vacation absolutely unforgettable.A special thank you to our amazing chefs, Stefano and Jose, who prepared incredible meals that our family looked forward to every day. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Concierge Michael was outstanding—always available, incredibly knowledgeable, and made planning excursions and activities effortless. "El lugar es bellísimo. Tiene al puro frente una playa inmensa lo que permite disfrutar ver y escuchar el mar. Los jardines están bien cuidados, las piscinas también. Las toallas de baño y de piscina de muy buena calidad. La amplitud de la habitación es otro gran plus y es de resaltar que está equipada la habitación con minibar y cafetera. El personal muy amable."

"We spent 10 days at this great house. My family included my 82 year old mother who wanted to stay forever! Emily was a great host. Very responsive when we had questions. We were delayed on our arrival due to traffic but there was no problem with Liliam (the house caretaker) meeting us late. Liliam was super friendly and even made us fresh juice and brought over coffee. The house was perfect for our family. The beautiful beach was close and the little town nearby was charming. The location was perfect to go north to Jaco or south to Manuel Antonio National Park. Lots of other stuff to do nearby as well! Emily also recommended masseuses that came to the house! We greatly enjoyed our trip and the house was a big part of our enjoyment."
Casa Tweed - Large private modern home, minutes from the ocean!

"Overall this was a great house with location being the best part. It’s in a gated community and the homes are spread out so you’re in your own tropical oasis. We saw a family of white faced monkeys and there were 2 iguanas that hung out by the pool. The management company was very responsive when we had issues. But the house is in need of some TLC. Kitchen cabinet doors are pretty beat up. The coffee maker doesn’t work well. The interior doors have keyed locks with no keys. We got locked out of a bathroom and had to wait for someone to come pry it open. Also the jacuzzi in the main bedroom was out of order with a laminated sign above it so I imagine it’s been like that for awhile. One other issue is that it’s listed as 4 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is a TV/sitting room with a pull out sofa. Also the bed in the main room is pretty hard and there weren’t extra blankets other than the bedcover. I would still recommend the house due to the location and management company."
