This condo resort is an an excellent location in Playa del Carmen - right on the beach, beautiful pool and within walking distance to many restaurants. Rooms are well appointed and any issues we had were very quickly addressed by the concierge. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

We loved our stay at the Elements! The pool was incredible and very large. Private beach right across the street. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our condo was absolutely beautiful with a patio and ocean view! It’s in such a great location, nice and quiet but just a few blocks away from the hustle and bustle of 5th Avenue. We could walk everywhere. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Elements. The condo was perfect for our family of 4 to have separate spaces after spending all day together, and a full kitchen to cook meals and save some money! The pool is absolutely huge and fantastic. The beach club was also wonderful to have across the road. We had a great stay!

The condo was beautiful! Amazing views, very nice furnishings, awesome pool and beach setup. Our host, Miguel, was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed at any time. Excellent experience in Playa del Carmen.

Our wonderful experience started early with Miquel helping us with all our questions. He was very friendly and helpful. The room and view were beautiful. We were able to walk to everything we needed. I would stay here again.

We stayed in a penthouse which has 2 floors and 2 balconies with ocean views. The pool is giant and has a sun shade over a section. The property’s beach club was just across the street and served drinks and food. There was also a 7-11 conveniently across the street from the front entrance. The bustling 5th Ave was a 5 min walk away. Communication via WhatsApp was excellent.

The concierge Miguel was really great. Checked in with us and helped answer lots of questions prior to arrival. The property is great for kids. A good location to so much and quiet. The pool was awesome. My own feedback was the beds. They were so uncomfortable. Hard to get sleep. We would stay again, maybe a different unit…

Can’t beat this place for the price. I thought what we got for the rate was excellent. Pool was clean. Condo was good, but beds were very hard unit G11 and there was a very strong ammonia smell that persisted all week. But this place was cheaper than most 2 star hotels with way more to offer. The little bar by the beach had good fish tacos too. We could walk to tons of restaurants from here. Basically the value can’t be beat. We also liked this side of 5th ave more, it’s less crowded, feels safer and it’s pretty quite.

The room was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. There were peices of broken glass around the lower deck, the hot tub did not work and does not have a cover to keep debris out, also no scoop or net available to clean out debris, could not be used at all. Room faced boat launch, noise and lots of turned up seaweed. Beach club is next to marina, very narrow beach and swimming area. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants was a plus.

As much as I love the location of property. I was not so happy with the enourmous pile of seaweed across the street. The smell would make it unbearable to sit out on patio. But in is not the Elements property of where that pile is. Elements in my opinion is quite the gem. Secure, clean and friendly. We stayed in 121 which had a great view of pool and the sea. My only problem was the musky smell, which i get being in a high humidity climate. But I know that can be treated. Not exactly allergy friendly for me. I will definitely stay at the Elements again next time i am in Playa.

The 2 bedroom property we stayed in was outdated. The bed was comfortable but shower water was not filtered. Outside our room there was a giant pile of rotting Sargasso (seaweed)that smelled really bad and was also attracting gnats, insects. The cardio room/gym was the highlight of the facility although the second floor was not air conditioned every day and this made exercising in May 'uncomfortable'. :) It is also further away from the heart of 5th Avenida which makes walking into the center of the splendor slightly more difficult. Due to that inconvenient Sargasso situation, my wife and I can't review the hotel in a very positive light.
