"This property was incredibly beautiful. This hotel is more for couples and my husband and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Everyone on the staff went over and beyond to assist you with whatever you need. The atmosphere was great as well. The perfect get away to relax, reflect and restore. "Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. The house, gardens, and views were even more stunning in person than in the photos. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The caretaker met us at the local grocery store, waited while we picked up supplies, then guided us to the house and gave us a thorough walkthrough. The owner also stayed in touch throughout our visit and was especially helpful when my son needed medical care, providing prompt and valuable assistance.Do note that the house is located on a steep dirt road—having a 4x4 vehicle is definitely recommended. The nearest beach is just a short drive away, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, scenic beaches, waterfalls, and other attractions nearby.We had an amazing time here and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!"

"We were actually the first guests to stay at this property, and everything exceeded our expectations. The house is very spacious, clean, and the ocean view is a beautiful bonus. It’s about a 10-minute drive to Uvita, making the location very convenient.To reach the house, you do need to go through a short rough road, around 150 meters. While it's not very long, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. We had a Toyota Corolla and managed just fine, except during one rainy night when the car couldn’t make it up the hill, and we had to walk to the property. That was the only minor inconvenience.The outdoor area of the property is still under construction, and the hosts mentioned that they plan to build a pool soon, which will be a great addition. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back to this place in the future!"
"The location of the property is beautiful, set back from the road and elevated for a great view of the Pacific. We particularly enjoyed the Happy Hour each day at 5:00 to enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The pool, the colorful plants, the toucans, tanagers, orapendulas and numerous other birds added so much to our visit. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Our 5 days spent at Cristal Ballena were top notch!"
