"This is a great location in the heart of Ojochal. The property is very clean. Unfortunately, it suffers from some issues that the owner cannot solve - there are no electrical outlets in the very small bathrooms, hot water does not reach one of the bathrooms causing daily cold showers, and cellular service at this location is poor. Be sure to download the pdf directions, wifi password, etc. long before you reach the property because you won't have sufficient cellular service to do it when you reach the property. This forced us to bother the owner with text messages we sent in the dark in pouring rain to access the property. The owner was very gracious and responded immediately. The property is well appointed and maintained."

Located in a beautiful rainforest setting, our room was clean, modern and comfortable and overlooked a lovely swimming pool which we used daily during our stay. The hotel itself is within easy reach of Ojochal, Uvita, Sierpe and nearby beaches. Would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Fantastic property with great views of the mountains and oceans. Lots of wildlife with monkeys, pizotes, macaw’s, hawks & other beautiful birds. The location was excellent. Easy access to main road with a lot of great restaurants and golf in 10 minute range. Fresh fish, fruits and vegetables also available from roadside vendors. The Infiniti pool was very rejuvinating. Our property manager Olmer was incredible. Lots of local knowledge and available for questions. "

Our villa overlooked the lush forest, with a stunning glimpse of the ocean in the distance. Every morning, we enjoyed the natural spectacle right from our patio, where we were fortunate to spot Capuchin monkeys, vibrant Scarlet Macaws, lizards, and delicate hummingbirds fluttering nearby. The tranquil surroundings and exceptional hospitality made Villas en el Bosque a truly unforgettable retreat. It's a place where nature, comfort, and a sense of serenity come together to create an idyllic getaway."

"The property was well maintained and clean. Came with everything needed for the stay. Very comfortable accommodations! Would highly recommend staying at this property. One issue was difficulty in finding the property. We drove around for an hour in the area trying to find it. Would recommend better lighting and/or signage to avoid this in the future. "
