"(Would rate this 3.5, if that were an option.)Clean and well-kept. The short walk to the beach was great! The parking area was secure. The pool was pretty, but the pump was loud (and in the master bedroom, the steady vibration was headache-inducing). Thankfully, it was turned off overnight, so then the place was peaceful. (When we contacted them about the loud pump, they responded promptly, which was great.)Also, the TVs worked only sporadically, which was disappointing, and the ceiling fan in the main area didn't work at all.A couple things that could've made the place better:*Lamps for better lighting (the ceiling lights aren't conducive for reading).*Hooks for towels.*A curtain for the front window (which was missing panes, making the inside visible from the road)."

"An amazing location in the middle of a nature preserve.On one side is the historic Las Salines (the salt collecting locks) and on the otherside a natural beach with beautiful undisturbed mature trees. At sunset the view from the balcony is one of the best I have ever seen. If you want a less unobstructed view you can walk down to the back gate and see forever. I like beach preservation and true natural beauty so for me the birds, the trees, and rustling leaves mixing with waves beats any cookie-cutter constructed resort view. A short walk down the road takes you to a lighthouse overlooking one of the best small bays I have ever seen. Walk up the road and there is an observation tower with a great view. If you enjoy nature, peace, and locals with quick access to Nature Preserves, or the more tourist filled Combate Beach with all the resturants and great food this is the place. "

"As advertised, the ambience of the place was calm and relaxing. Rooms were comfortable. The place is a bit challenging to find (do not trust Google maps), but hostess Vionet sent me such detailed directions that I could not get lost. Walking to the beach would be reasonable (but my knee was not having it), but by car it's like 2 minutes. All in all a very comfortable and positive experience. "
