"The room was spotless and this is important for someone like me who is OCD. It had shower towels and beach towels, The bed and pillows were comfy. The property had a shared kitchen with a TV, a keurig with all flavored coffees, sugar, creamer, toaster oven, sandwich presser, fridge and we also had a fridge in the room! I am the type that likes to have cold drinks in my room. The premises has a store on the grounds where one can find food/snacks and things that tend to be forgotten like a toothbrush or toothpaste. The room attendant also services the store and she was very helpful with suggestions of things we could do. The grounds are well lit at night and the walk to the beach is about a 3 min walk with restaurants walking distance. Jose who did my check in was friendly and even was kind enough to help carry my mom and aunt’s belongings up to their room. They are senior citizens and he was a true gentleman. At night the room was quiet and it had cable and a smart tv so we were able to watch a movie. I highly recommend this place! "

"They should change the shower system for a simple one. My room had no fridge, they were trying to bring it while I was busy. Restaurant food is not good at all. "

"The view was amazing, beautiful sunsets from balcony, great beach within a mile walk, and the host was very responsive , espevially with some issues with appliances. The pool was lovely to swim in as well. "

"An amazing location in the middle of a nature preserve.On one side is the historic Las Salines (the salt collecting locks) and on the otherside a natural beach with beautiful undisturbed mature trees. At sunset the view from the balcony is one of the best I have ever seen. If you want a less unobstructed view you can walk down to the back gate and see forever. I like beach preservation and true natural beauty so for me the birds, the trees, and rustling leaves mixing with waves beats any cookie-cutter constructed resort view. A short walk down the road takes you to a lighthouse overlooking one of the best small bays I have ever seen. Walk up the road and there is an observation tower with a great view. If you enjoy nature, peace, and locals with quick access to Nature Preserves, or the more tourist filled Combate Beach with all the resturants and great food this is the place. "

"We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location was wonderful quiet, peaceful, and a nice distance from the busy tourist areas, which we loved. The owner was also very kind and easy to communicate with, which made the experience feel welcoming.There were just a few things that could be improved. The house could have been a bit cleaner, as there were small bugs around the windows, walls, and some floors. We also didn’t have consistent hot water there were plug in shower heaters, but when the power went out we only had cold water. It would also be nice if full bedding sets were provided, since there was only a fitted sheet and a throw blanket. With a little attention to these details, this place could easily be a top notch stay. We truly appreciated the friendly host and the peaceful location."
