"Lovely house on the side of the hill. Just three rooms. We were very well fed and very well taken care of by the owner and her family. I loved being able to sit out and look at the mountains and hear the river down below. Very hard to find though. Make an effort to be sure you have clear specific directions to the house before you arrive."

By looking at other people's reviews, it appears that we are not the only travelers to have our booking cancelled by Hotel Vacanceole without notice. Concerned by an email we received, we called our travel agent twice to confirm that our booking was still valid - and were reassured both times that the Hotel said the room was still available. After reaching the hotel, we arrived only to find out...

"Habitación enana sin espacio para moverte, dejada, anticuada, destartalada, sin mantenimiento ninguno. Un esquinero suelto dejado por las esquinas, las mantas tiradas dentro del armario, una balda de cristal del baño suelta y abandonada sobre el lavabo, los grifos sueltos giraban, ... un desastre. Que sea un hostal no quiere decir que tenga que estar como una pocilga. No era una habitación que mantuviese un mínimo de dignidad."
