Mountain Summit House at Pisgah Forest - Brevard, NC

Enjoy long range views of Mount Pisgah and the entire Pisgah Range (180 degrees year-round) from the western side of a vast wrap-around, 100% covered deck. As well as long range views from the east side and covered salt water hot tub.

This family-owned and cherished 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home is situated on the summit of one of the highest elevations in northeast Pisgah Forest, conveniently located just five minutes from places like Oskar Blues Brewery, The Hub & Pisgah Tavern, Sycamore Cycles and Ecusta Brewing. And only 10 minutes to downtown Brevard, and 25 minutes to downtown Hendersonville.

NOTE: Only a 30-minute drive to the Cliffs at Walnut Cove, home of the PGA TOUR's 2026 Biltmore Championship.

Ideally Suited for:

- Multi-generation families. Our family vacation home is very popular with families of grandparents and their adult kids and grandchildren of all ages.

- Mom, dad and the kids.

- Two young families. Plenty of privacy for two couples with kids, who will thrive in the great outdoors (manicured lawns for cornhole or opens spaces to run free). And a well-equipped kitchen and Weber grill for cooking large meals.

When booking during wintertime:

Our home is located on a very private mountain road shared by only three residences. The road is paved and was recently resurfaced, but it is somewhat narrow and steep in a few sections.

Traffic is extremely rare, adding to the property’s privacy and peaceful setting. However, during winter months, snow or ice may make the road difficult or temporarily impassable.

Guests are encouraged to purchase trip insurance to protect against unexpected weather-related access issues.

Beautiful piece of property. Views of surrounding mountains and valleys were amazing. The house easily accommodated our group of 5 adults and two small children. Rooms are spacious. Wrap around deck is very nice. We loved the fire pit. The owner had an ample supply of wood which we freely burned . Very convenient to Brevard and surrounding areas. We would rent again if we came back this way.

Our four couples spend a long weekend in the area each year. This house was by far the best! Sleeps 8 nicely, great porch, full kitchen, very good beds, and very clean, Host was great. Will return.

This is a gorgeous house with amazing mountain views. Excellent host and good communication throughout the process. Our family/kids loved this house. Lovely place. Worked out well, two older adults and then younger couple with two children (3 and 5). Sleeping arrangements worked well, room to play and also for privacy if desired. Great hot tub and view, especially in the morning as the fog settled in the valley, were beautiful.

Incredible Property!

I rented the house for a get together with family members and the property exceeded our expectations. Everything you see in the pictures is better in person. The views are stunning, the house is cozy, the amenities are nice, and it’s very private. Check in and out was easy because Paul is a top tier host. Everyone enjoyed it.

The Home is as described in the listing. A beautiful home with sweeping views of the mtns. Now, you can plan a trip but not the weather and we had unfortunate timing with Hurricane Helene. The host was very responsive and prompt on any issues or questions that arose. And he went above & beyond making sure we were ok and helping us out when the area was hit hard by the storm. I highly recommend this home & host!

Family Weekend in the Mountains; Great Break From Summer Heat!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a long cool weekend in Pisgah Forest to briefly escape the Summer heat. The house perched on top of Enon Mt Rd was just what we needed to handle our crew of 6 adults and 2 children. Loved, loved, loved the cool breezes on the wrap-around porch and the gorgeous views from all areas of the house and property. The property owner went above and beyond to make sure that our check in went super smoothly and that we were thoroughly oriented to all of the amenities offered. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful secluded mountain views!

This lovely home is at the top of a private drive, positioned at the top of a small mountain, giving 360 degree mountain views. Absolutely lovely. Dual fireplaces inside plus an outdoor fire pit. Close to Brevard and other local towns, but still a secluded feeling. Just minutes from Pisgah National forest and a ton of activities, awesome location. The home does not have central A/C or central heat but it was plenty comfortable during our stay. Kitchen was really well stocked and host communication was great. I would definitely stay again.

Our days at the Summit House on Enon Mountain will be long remembered for the beauty of the views and surroundings and the conveniences of the accommodations. Rarely do you fall in love with a temporary home . . . but this is a place I would be comfortable to stay forever. Perfect girls trip

The owner is great communicating everything about the property. The website is wonderful and was able to do a little research on a suggested hike of some smaller waterfalls that aren’t crowded. My first hike, I got to see 3 small waterfalls and only saw I couple along the 5 mile hike. There’s a great tube float place just down the road and everything you could need is a short drive but you really feel secluded and peaceful at the house. Everything we needed was there and it was cozy with beautiful outdoor area. Highly recommend!
