Villa Grachira is a delightful place to stay. The position is perfect for visiting Alghero as long as you have a car. The view from the rooms on the sea side is stunning, and the rooms themselves are beautifully clean and bright. The suites in particular are lovely, though the standard rooms are a little small. The owner, Signora Raffaella, could not possibly be more helpful. The breakfast is much better then the standard fare. In fact, we loved being there and recommend it highly.

Good location. Great service. Lovely staff. Yummy breakfast with plenty of options. Clean room. A little bit of noise heard from other guests coming and going.

Lovely stay in Alghero despite the heat wave. Davide is a wonderful host - as a native of the area who clearly has refined taste, he had impeccable tips, so we ate and drank at wonderful places.
We especially liked gioia for coffee and light breakfast, Aragon for a wonderful set lunch, sa mandra (you must book way ahead), the lovely nearby prosciutteria, the beach bar for amazing views and drinks. Actually every place we went was great - all Davide's recommendations.

Staff were friendly enough. Rooms were good enough. Great convenient location close to port to catch boat tours to Neptune's Cave or go for a swim at the nearby Lido. Very close to old town which was beautiful to walk through, day and night. Watching the sun set from the old town walls was spectacular. Excellent breakfast available at roof top restaurant overlooking the old town and the sea.
