Stayed as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. There is no view from the room, you should get a room with an ocean view. The space is small. It's a little cramped for 4 people. The hotel is large and has a great pool. Breakfast is delicious. Convenient free airport shuttle. There are many restaurants within a 1-minute walk from the hotel. You can also eat cheaply.

Amazing grounds and rooms. We stayed in a bungalow with beautiful views of the beach and own private pool. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Own room was very clean and well maintained. Thank you for a great stay.

Great property great hotel. The only problem that stuff do not speak English most of them. Do not understand a word you’re telling them even the people in the lobby. Don’t understand enough.

Lovely grounds, great pools, calm sea, great value, very hot!
Downside, beach got dirty and staff just watched guests doing the clean up! Some bar staff very slow, 25 mins for a drink! Aircon never made room cold enough, asked to be cleaned but never got better, 10 degrees on high 24hr a day!

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Pool are and beach lovely and plenty of beds freely available. What lets it down is the area. It’s almost abandoned with 80% of local ‘shopping centre’ shops closed or empty units. Lots of villas and apartments have been built and most just left abandoned. Unless you hire a scooter or use a taxi/grab to go into town, you’ll see nothing g of the atmosphere of Phu Quoc.
Food for breakfast is well presented and a good variety but too many people with no buffet manners and hot food only lukewarm. Restaurant food good but expensive, as are the drinks. Really an all inclusive kind of hotel, which is not what we were looking for in Vietnam but I’m sure will suit you if that’s what you are after.

Staffs are great, rooms are very well keep clean so are every other areas like pools, front lounged etc. The only things is that the morning soup based for the noodles is quite salty. So if you are a person who can’t have salty food, this is one that you can not eat.

I have been this resort so many time in the past. This time , it is worst . I can see buses of local tourist. They were super loud, It was not same as before 2017-2019. The hotel was nice and quite.
When we check in They didn’t have room that we booked. I show them picture of room. Receptionist told me if I would like to have a room like the pic and downstair .. I need to call them ahead of but This is not the first time I book at this hotel. It never happen in the past.
The breakfast time is horrible.
I feel like I’m middle of wet market lol. One of the funniest thing happen when we were seating at table and a man came and sat down at our table even we said no. He just ignore it. How rude they are.

The employees were so sweet, helpful and nice! Everybody spoke good English.
The villa we rented was in bad shape, in the garden there were old cigarettes and some garbage as well. Old ash were on the pool table.

As a frequent flyer, I've been staying in different Novotels globally. This one in Phu Quoc also shows the typical standards of Novotel. Clean guest room with a bathtub. Polite and helpful staffs. Not very surprised but bunch of selection of buffet breakfast. The best part is it comes with private beach which is very good to enjoy the sunset.
