"This was our first time staying at this location, and we absolutely loved it! We truly fell in love with the place—it's hard to imagine a place with a better-stocked kitchen. We appreciated the great cookware, a wide variety of utensils and cutlery, glasses, spices, and even coffee beans. We especially enjoyed the large deck and outdoor patio set. The only small issues were a few dead flies in the upstairs bedrooms, which made it look a bit unkempt—like something out of "Lords of the Flies," with dead flies on the window sills and floors. It made us wonder when the upstairs area was last cleaned or inspected. A couple of friendly suggestions: adding TVs in the bedrooms, perhaps a tabletop fireplace to cozy up around the patio when enjoying the deck space, and installing a fence or border around the fire pit area for added safety where the ground drops off. We will be coming back for sure!!! "

"We have been coming to West Jefferson for several years now and always enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn Express. Very convenient location and amenities are what we need. Always clean and breakfast is good with healthy options like yogurt and fruit. Coffee service area is very nice to have too ! "

"This was a great place. Stayed with extended family for a wedding near by. Even mt 82 year old mother was happy with how nice & clean the house was. Fyi two first floor bedrooms & baths and an entrance within one step a few inches high made this a great rental for people who are step challenged. Upstairs & basement offered ability to have separation if needed."

"Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend. It was an excellent time! The location is great, in a small development with a good paved road. It's five minutes or so to downtown Lansing and it's great spots and about 15 or so to downtown West Jefferson. Easy to get to from Raleigh and Charlotte, where our group was coming from. Communicate with the host was the best I've had with VRBO. The house felt roomy enough for the group and the kitchen helped us produce gourmet meals. The best part was gathering around the outdoor fireplace. Would stay here again!"
