"No the pool was feezing! Which was one of the main points why I rented the property. i understand it's November and most likely they shut it down for winter, but it would have been nice if we could have known that before hand and I though we could swim because it is indoors after all. The property was awesome, though lots of wildlife, clean family friendly and close to town. We just love Ferndale! I had lots of trouble with the key lock, opening it, and then also that it would not close upon checkout. I did find a lot of ants in the kitchen area which is probably normal for the area. Also, they wanted me to start a load of laundry before I left, and did not specify what needed to go into the laundry. And there was no laundry soap, so I just put the sheets and towels in there and did not start it. Over all it was a nice weekend in Ferndale, though pricey at the restaurants downtown as well as the gift shops.I knew it would be, so I budgeted for that. Regardless of the time of day every meal for 2 adults and 1 child was around 100 plus tip. Everyone in town was amazing and super, nice and I really enjoyed my stay there and wonderful memories were made!"
