My wife and I stayed at this cozy bed and breakfast for one night and absolutely loved how cute our room was. It also helped that we went at the peak of fall foliage and witnessed miles and miles of fall colors on our way to the inn. The hosts were welcoming and even though we stayed for a short time, it was a memorable stay.

Lovely little spot

Charming, intimate ski/tourism chalet, positioned in a tiny town on the beautiful St Lawrence river. Kind inn-keepers ready to help. It's a great place to stay if skiing Le Massif de Charlevoix (5 minutes away) or looking for a quiet getaway an hour from QC. Enjoy!

Stairs to rooms could have had a railing, everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Meals were wholesome. And if you want quiet and great walks or cycling it us a great place to stay. Very quiet village.

What a great spot to stop, dine in and have breakfast before hitting the slopes. The owners are very friendly and even cleaned the snow off my car in the morning! 👍I recommend without hesitation.

Our room was on the 3rd floor so had to walk up 3 flights of very steep stairs. Most of the walls were slanted ie banged our heads a few times! If you’re tall don’t stay in room 6. Food was great, staff very friendly.

Great stay at the Auberge le four à pain. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful with recommendations of things to do around the area. The room was clean and cozy and let’s not forget the view from the Auberge! Would definitely stay here again.

Flexibility in rules, breakfast choices (nothing for vegans. Fruit salad is not a breakfast). Booking jacuzzi allowed only 20 min, and everyone must get out at once, only there is just one bathroom, so one showers and others must be waiting while dripping. Staff is friendly, but rules are a bit too strict.

Quaint independent 3 story hotel

The breakfast included in the stay is basic, but cooked to order and the service is great. The outside patio was wonderful for morning breakfast in August. The bed in our room was a little tired and soft. We had a problem with a loud refrigerator running right next to the head of our bed, but they quickly rectified that situation when asked. The little town really grows on you and don't miss walking down to the wharf area. The views are amazing and the bike/walking trail through town was not crowded.

A hidden gem

Great little in, very close to Le Massif de Charlevoix. Quaint, charming inn, nice rooms, very friendly staff and great food. You will want to brush up on your French before you go.
