"The restaurant alone is worth a stay"

"What a lovely place and lovely people. We slept and ate and all was perfect. Quiet and comfortable room, very clean and large enough for two. Breakfast was self service with good quality choice and produce. The restaurant was fantastic, fresh ingredients on all courses, beautifully cooked and served accompanied with a well chosen wine. Well worth the visit. Thanks"

"Lovely spot for an overnight on the way down through France, kids loved the facilities including pool and the accommodation was quirky and fun. Staff were really friendly and the food and coffee were great after a long day driving."

Chambre avec des toiles d'araignées, le lit pas fait, avec un supplément drap/ serviettes, le logement a vieilli en comparant les photos mises en ligne. En pleine nuit, j'ai été réveillée par la présence d'une souris dans la poubelle intérieure. à par cela environnement très calme. sans voiture."

"Très bon accueil de la part des personnes sur place. La chambre est très grande, propre mais manque de personnalité. Quelques soucis d'intendance mais rien de grave. Le petit déjeuner est un peu juste pour le prix. Tranquillité et calme assurés"

"L’endroit mérite une rénovation complète. Le logement est propre mais une odeur d’égout envahît les pièces. L’entretien autour des logements est très négligé. L’endroit est éloigné des commerces. Le fait de devoir réserver la veille pour le restaurant, n’est pas adapté aux vacances. Le rivière est pleine de vase. C’est peu engageant de se reposer au bord. "

"A lucky choice on my route, when i booked this hotel. Its run by a very welcoming Dutch man and his wife. I had a very nice evening meal along with some other Dutch guests, so very pleasant. My room had everything i wanted, was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake. It also overlooked where my motorbike was parked, which was a bonus. I did enjoy my stay and would definately stay again. "

"This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"

"A fabulous 2 night stay. Very convenient for lake vassieviere. The outside space was exceptional, we enjoyed the garden, the pool. There were outdoor games but we were too lazy! We stayed for dinner and breakfast both days. Wonderful food, with attentive service, convivial atmosphere and a superb setting. A real authentic stay. We can't thank our hosts enough."
