"A lucky choice on my route, when i booked this hotel. Its run by a very welcoming Dutch man and his wife. I had a very nice evening meal along with some other Dutch guests, so very pleasant. My room had everything i wanted, was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake. It also overlooked where my motorbike was parked, which was a bonus. I did enjoy my stay and would definately stay again. "

"We were delighted with our stay in Aubusson. A lovely breakfast was left outside our room every morning and the restaurant offered a gourmet dinner of local specialties. The town was charming and the care and attention given to us by the hotel staff made our experience one we will always remember."

"The hotel is set in a rural area although it’s on a main route through the area. There is a beautiful tranquil lake at the rear of the hotel where you can have a quiet, easy peaceful walk and spot the abundant fish and admire the various tall trees. There are small beaches too. The hotel rooms were really good with new fixtures and fittings. I couldn’t fault the rooms. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Similarly the food and service were great. Despite having a bus full of tourists to feed, the staff seemed to manage the service efficiently. I think this hotel would be an excellent location as a base for exploring this outstanding region. For motorcyclists keen to park their machines in a safe area, the staff offered me the chance to park directly at the hotel entrance which was partially shrouded in decorative tall plants and within view of the night staff. I thank the hotel for making this kind, unrequested offer. It’s clear the hotel is prepared to go just that little bit further. In summary, I shall return to this hotel."

"We hebben echt een heerlijke vakantie gehad! Buiten de goede service kregen we ook goede tips om samen op pad te gaan of om lekker te zwemmen in de buurt. De eigenaren waren ook maar al te vriendelijk voor onze toch wel erg grote hond, die zich ook meer dan welkom voelde. Ook onze tienerdochters hebben genoten van het verblijf, het zwembad en de hele mooie omgeving."

Having dinner and breakfast on site was a great bonus and the food was of high quality. Yhe bed was very comfortable. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. I would definitely recommend."
