"Alunan, built amongst hundred years old forests, and a panoramic view towards the crystal clear turquoise south china sea. Alunan is like the best-kept secret on the east coast of Malaysia. Kudos to the coral conservation efforts, with house reef to die for, so close to the coastline, right next ..."

Quite an expensive yet old room
"Arrived well before official checkin time. Room was ready. Although they tried to upsell their newer renovated rooms which were empty. They were nice but it wasn’t a free upgrade. Their initial remark was my booked room requires stairs climbing which I did not find an issue to begin with. The basic ..."
"There's just so much good things about Taaras to be told that I don't think I can say everything here. Let me start by saying the staff are all very (I can't find a word for it)...they just make you feel like they've known you for so long like a long lost friend. Their attentiveness, always ready to help you with everything, their smiles, their friendliness. It's as if you're that one special guest that they've been waiting for so long. Kudos to the management for instilling that beautiful attitude throughout the entire team.
Thank you Amira for helping me out with the booking and all.
Special mentioning of Azimah for making my wife's birthday celebration a memorable one. Thank you Daniel and Suhaili for being so helpful and attentive through out the celebration.
Thank you all.
The beach, the sand, the wave. Just out of this world. My family and I come from the West Coast of Peninsula Malaysia and we know we've just spoiled ourselves as after this, we might be unfairly comparing the beaches here and in Redang.
We went for snorkeling too among some of the activities. First timers as we are, it's a lie if I say we were not nervous no matter how excited we were. But the moment you look down at the corals and the busy schools of fish, you will be mesmerized by them that you'll easily lose that sense of time.
Needless to say my family and I will definitely come back here, Insya Allah"

"Alunan, built amongst hundred years old forests, and a panoramic view towards the crystal clear turquoise south china sea. Alunan is like the best-kept secret on the east coast of Malaysia. Kudos to the coral conservation efforts, with house reef to die for, so close to the coastline, right next to your doorstep. There are thousand and one things to do, from the reef plating, catamaran sailing, table tennis, hiking, swimming, snorkeling, diving, best of Perhentian hopping, shark and turtle sighting, you just cannot get enough of Alunan. Service and food is impeccable, room is large and airy, with amazing view from your bed and the uniqueness is you have your own rooftop deck. Wildlife is crawling, flying, and swimming all over the premises, this is as close to nature as you can get; A place that gives back to nature and is meant for people who love nature. "
