"This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing. If we had picked one of the bungalows or treehouses, I likely would have given the place 5 stars. It is a nice alternative away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but still close to lots of attractions. "

"This property was amazing, literally one of the most beautiful properties that I have ever stayed at! The staff were so accomodating, especially given a reservation error . They had us check in, stated they would handle the problem with Expedia, and told us the most important thing is that we have a good time. AND THEY LIVED UP TO IT! "Beautiful place! The hotel is tucked up the hill on a gravel road that would be manageable in any car if you drive carefully. There is access to hiking from the hotel and nature all around. William and staff were very helpful and always available. William can help book any kind of experience you’d like in the area and has great recommendations and advice.
