Nice hotel in a quieter part of the town. Room was a bit narrow but love th e shower and the toilet. Staff a bit skeletal crew but did their utmost.

Great, everything works. Only inconvenience to note if u book the same room under 2 different reservations, u need to reactivate your room cards for the next booking. We stayed over 3 nights. Booked 2 nights with breakfast & 1 without breakfast coz of an early flight. We had to reactivate the cards even though it’s for the same room, under the same name.

First impressions: a very good 4-star hotel! We had a great stay at Hompton by the Beach, Penang, and the theme song was such a lovely touch—it actually stayed in our heads even after we checked out! 😄🎶
There’s definitely some room for improvement, such as providing portable luggage storage and adding a little more décor and ambience to give the hotel a stronger holiday feel.
The staff could also improve on customer service and friendliness to better match 4-star hotel standards.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again in the future! ❤️
