"Probably best location on the island, the house was surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies, we enjoyed them every night coming close to the house. "This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly."

"We stayed at the property for 3 nights with kids and it was great. Step out of the property and there’s the Esplanade. The owner had thankfully stocked jam, milk, vegemite, cereals etc as well which was very handy - there was always food when the kids got hungry at odd hours and most places were closed due to Easter long weekend. Highly recommend! "

"Property was in a great location. Island beach is so beautiful. Very well equipped and the slow cooker was a bonus. Overall nice and clean, although there were empty bottles and cans all over the fish cleaning sink which we couldnt use. This was cleaned up however at the end of our trip. Beds were a bit firm for my liking but clean and warm. Had some visits by local kangaroos, wallabies and the beautiful birds on KI and also some local chooks! A bit of a hick up when we arrived to locked doors...

"We only stayed here on night, but it would have been easy to stay longer. Our basic room was quite nice and pretty large. All rooms have an ocean view and there is a nice walking path just across the street. Its about 1.2 km walk to the ferry, and very close to the main restaurant bar. Also very close to Hertz - Thrifty rental car. The hotel itself has a nice little cafe attached and is up on a bluff, so has a very nice vista . Staff were very helpful and accomodating. Nothing not to like!"
