"This was a wonderful getaway for our honeymoon — my husband and I were both down with a bad cold the minute we landed, but staying isolated was the easiest and most peaceful thing we could have done that whole week. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, and so was the bathroom with toiletries, the entire cottage was clean and fresh, and best of all was the privacy of the property. For anyone looking for a comfortable place to enjoy quiet, this is the place!"

"We enjoyed our time here in July 2024 so much that we had to come back in August 2025. We really enjoyed being able to paddle board in the mornings right from the private dock. There are quite a few hiking and biking trails close by as well as nice beaches to explore, a short drive away. Trinita is so friendly and generous. She made us feel very welcome."

"Quiet area close to the Galloping Goose trail. Modern clean suite. Bed is a double which was advertised but I missed that. We are use to a King so it felt very small."

"Family Get-Together -- we were looking for something to accommodate a small family gathering (7 in all), and this place was perfect. We also booked "Matheson Lake Guest House" to accommodate sleeping arrangements. If you are looking for a quiet place to call your own, this is it. You feel like you are on your own little acreage! There were plenty of things to do around Metchosin, and Victoria was only a short drive away. Dave and Amanda were very easy to work with, and emails were always answered promptly. We will DEFINITELY visit again."
