Riverside Getaway

Cabin is very nice and a great place for large families. The river is shallow enough for the kids to play in. Elk coming down to the river to eat apples was a bonus. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. Overall the cabin is a very nice place.

Great Retreat

Our family had a great time. We enjoyed the multiple amenities, comfortable beds & furnishings. Along with having alone space if needed. We all got the opportunity for some well needed R&R! Left refreshed and ready to tackle life again. We would stay again.

Beautiful home, some things could be better

This review is to help prepare. Not to be negative. Firstly, there were SO many piles of cow poop on the property that it made it less than enjoyable with letting the kids run. The poop is everywhere....even on the banks of the creek. I get it, cows roam, but the pictures show so much beautiful green grass. Not green, laden in cow pies. The time we went must have been a perfect storm, because in addition to the cow pies, we had the pleasure of black worms with legs everywhere. On everything. We googled it and they are a leaf eating beetle. Literally on everything. The ground, the chairs, the rocks. The exterior of the house could have used a cleaning and blowing before we got there. We ended up finding the blower and doing it ourselves....also the oven in the house has a broken panel, so when you turn it on you have no way to know if it's actually on. We did get it to work, but it was a shot in the dark. Things to prepare for: the house is not equipped with board games, so if you want to play them you should bring. Sound travels in the house. It was okay for us but good to know. The primary bedroom triangular tub has a shower with no curtain. The lower level uses space heaters, okay but good to know. The outdoor fire pit is lovely and there's plenty of seating everywhere. Be prepared with crocs for walking the property and in the creek to avoid the poop. The home is so beautiful though and the creek's lovely.

Magical place!

This place has everything could possibly ask for. The sound of the river, the elk that visited us in the morning and just minutes from beautiful walks. Super spacious and definitely enough room for 10 to 12 people. We look forward to visiting here again.

Amazing Family Trip

We went to this cabin and had an amazing time from fishing to relaxing on the patio to late nights in the hot tub. I recommend this place to everyone!
