All really great here … donated an inexpensive hair dryer tho and carpeting is a bit on the worn side but other those two items, we would re-rent for sure. Also, found 2 restaurants we recommend… El Rodeo (Mexican) and Duza’s for their fish special !!"

"We had the best time. The house was beautiful and cozy. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the game room, but having another level for the adults to sit and relax was convenient as well. The host was super nice and helpful. We went hiking, crawfishing and antique shopping. The kids got up early to watch the deers walk by. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"This property is beautiful. The cabin is gorgeous and spacious! We brought the family here for some family time and to play in the snow. The cabin accommodated the family including 7 adults and 3 children perfectly! The host was amazing and great to work with! I would definitely rent this property again!"

"We had an amazing Easter weekend at the house and were blessed with a spring snowfall! The house was perfect, with comfy beds, a great kids room and everything we might have needed in the kitchen. The house is close to town, yet backs up to the national forest and feels completely private and remote. Great for exploring and a campfire with smores!"

"We just returned from a weekend trip to Happy Jack. I wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage was so inviting and adorable. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the construction. For example, there is a beam across the kitchen where the wiring for the ceiling fan and lights were hidden. The ladder going up to the loft was very safe. The kitchen had everything you may need. "We had a great stay at the cabin! Elk came by a couple times a day to visit and munch on grass. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It rained and hailed pretty much every day, so we spent a lot of time inside the cabin. We were very comfortable and warm. The dogs loved running and playing in the backyard (when the elk weren't there first). The host was very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely rent this cabin again!"
