Weather was perfect with 28” on the ground. Meals, drinks, services and cabin were as described with loft two queen beds. Plenty of linens, supplies and excellent comfort. We could not have asked for more..
Peaceful Retreat in the Pines – Perfect for Us and Our Dogs!
We had an amazing stay at Cabin 6 in the Enchanted Forest in Christopher Creek! Surrounded by beautiful pine trees and cooler mountain air, it was the perfect peaceful escape. We especially loved how quiet and relaxing it was, and the enclosed back deck made it easy to bring our dogs along without worry. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well cared for. The owner was excellent—quick to respond and provided great communication throughout our stay. We also took advantage of the great location—just minutes from fantastic hiking trails and Woods Canyon Lake.A bonus highlight was the live music and great food at the onsite restaurant, Creekside Tavern. Don’t leave without trying the Beast Burger—it was incredible!Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, explore, and enjoy the beauty of Christopher Creek. We’ll definitely be back!

Liked: Communication
The entry way was not ideal, there was no signage of where the listed cabins were located. The property could use some updated/ better maintenance on equipment grilling area, fire area. The mattresses were a little old and uncomfortable.the seating in the cabins are outdated with rips and uncomfortable.
My partner couldn't make it the days we had planned and I can't drive far distances. I contacted the host and ask to change dates. They replied that they would be happy to help. I gave several different dates and then I was ghosted. I have trip insurance. Another joke. Wouldn't upload the first of about 7 documents. You should really think about booking thru Vrbo. I know the appeal of the cabin in the woods is great but I would definitely book a hotel room next time.
We appreciate a nice dog friendly accommodation! We chose because we came to hike, clearly our Labrador loves to hike too. Staff at this place extremely friendly! One complaint, no blanket on bed, just sheet, and very thin quilt, it wa 29 degrees at night. They did have a room heater, but we definitely prefer cooler room air with blankets for warmth! We will return. , we will just pack our blankets!!
I took away a star because the upstairs was so hot and did not receive the benefits of the air conditioner. And, charging for bottled water....really? Otherwise, the kids loved all the activities provided in the court yard. The adults loved the woodsy setting and the close proximity to the restaurant and bar...although it was experiencing the same short staffing problems as is the rest of the country.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We were very excited to book this cabin on our vacation however, when we arrived, it looked absolutely nothing like the photos online. It smelled terrible and the furniture looked like it had been well used for the last 50 years… Holes in the upholstery of the chair, etc. The cabin was open for us when we arrived, but there was no contact person on site. We tried to phone them, we tried to text/email them, and never received a response. We ended up and driving onto the next town to find a hotel. We were extremely disappointed, having paid good money for what looked like a delightful cabin and were sorely disappointed with what we saw when we arrived and even more so with the complete lack of communication… it’s week later and we still have never heard from them.
The reviews online had looked positive, but we saw a sign in the cabin that said they would compensate you for five star reviews. Definitely a warning to anyone who is looking at this property, do not stay here!
