several family or gourmet restaurants are within walking distance, I have a 125 cc scooter (200 baht per day) on site to go shopping or visit the island, see and ride on elephants, a Family market supermarket is open 24/24 just in front of the elephant door at 1000 m, there is 4km a large traditional market with fish, seafood, fruit vegetables, meat and sale of Thai prepared meals, Samui airport is located at 30 min and I have a friend, very punctual, who is a taxi and who can take you to the airport for 800 baht (about 23 €) she has been picking up my guests for years and knows the road well.
