The best area to stay in Pashpa is within the main village itself, as it's a small, traditional Andean community.

Pashpa is a compact village located in the Cordillera Blanca. Its main thoroughfare, which is more of a central path than a street, connects the local church, the community's primary school, and a few small general stores. Accommodation options are typically guesthouses or homestays, offering a chance to experience the local way of life. The village is surrounded by agricultural terraces and offers clear views of the surrounding mountains.

For trekkers and adventurers, staying in Pashpa is ideal. It serves as a direct gateway to several popular hiking routes, including the Huayhuash Circuit and various trails leading into the Huascarán National Park. The convenience of starting and ending treks directly from your accommodation saves travel time and allows for early starts.

Couples looking for a quiet retreat and an authentic cultural experience will find Pashpa appealing. The village provides a calm setting away from busier tourist hubs, with opportunities to interact with local residents and observe traditional Andean customs.
