"Ice storm hit late afternoon Friday and the parking lot was not salted by 10am Saturday. Very dangerous walking or driving
There's no breakfast avaliable on the property or within walking distance - the restaurant should be open in some form for guests daily "
"The hotel was easy to find, easy to park. There are actually some restaurants right there in the parking lot. Since we stayed on Christmas Eve, we ran into Beiler’s Donuts to get some donuts for the next morning (definitely check out them out if you stay the hotel).
The hotel has a very cozy vibe. The room was a decent size, clean and charming with exposed brick walls with hardwood floors. We were close to the elevator but never really heard any noise outside of our room. The turn down service was a really nice touch.
Breakfast availability was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. There was a nice array of choices, mostly cold things but there is a pancake machine and toasters for some warmer options. Real milk was available for the coffee (yay! I will not use those little strange creamers). The one negative was the lack of hot water when we went to shower. That being said, the staff was very accommodating when we let them know the hot water wasn't working. "
