It had a feeling of character, a small cozy quiet hotel. The included continental breakfast was especially excellent! Very friendly attentive service too.

Cosy and comfortable hotel in a great location. Bar (€5 for a beer between 5pm and 8pm) , bakery and supermarket within 1 minute of walking. Two Metro stations within 5 minutes. Really friendly staff

The hotel is in a lovely quiet location near transport links and places to eat as well as a little supermarket. Our room was impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly. It is typically a very small room; this is the norm in Paris. Worth being aware that the lift only holds 2 people so if you have many large bags you may have to make multiple trips. We had a balcony room. The balcony was very large and it really added value to the room. I recommend this to people who prefer smaller hotels in less touristy locations.

We loved our room with the little terrace and table overlooking Rue du Constantinople! The owners/staff were very hospitable and helpful and there are two metro stops on either end of the street which proved very convenient. We would love to be back.

A gem in a good location.
Good location, close to the metro. Room was very clean and met all our needs for a 2 night stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We didnt eat breakfast at the hotel so cant comment on that. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

The New Orient Hotel is charming and comfortable. I stayed in a Comfort Balcony room and enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine and taking in the street view, It's located in the 8th Arrondisement, so it's a 35-minute walk to the Louvre and convenient to two metro stations. Across the street is a small grocery store and a laundry mat, so pack lightly. Maison Hecht boulangerie and Le Coin bistro are right around the corner and will satisfy your daily needs for fresh baked goods and classic French bistro food. Josef and Catherine, the proprietors, are wonderful hosts and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you're an English only person, don't worry. And if you want to practice your French, Catherine will be happy to accommodate you. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there on my next visit.

Lovely hotel!
This was a beautiful hotel! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location is very convenient, with 2 metro stops being less than 5min walk away and a 3rd stop less than 10min walk away. We felt very safe walking back to the hotel at night. The area is quiet with a few bistros and bars nearby, but the hotel windows are pretty soundproof so we weren’t bothered by any outside noise. Although there was wide-spread fear of bed bugs in Paris while we visited, this hotel was very clean and we didn’t have any issues. The bed itself was very comfortable. We booked the comfort balcony room; the balcony is a must if you’re able to get it! Overall we had a wonderful experience, and we’d love to stay here again next time we visit Paris.

Excellent central location. Private, family ownership for years (lovely couple), so you can tell they really care about the place and their guests. My room had a small, charming balcony overlooking the street, and the bathroom was newly renovated and spotless. Kind and lovely atmosphere. Nice cafes, restaurants and even a small supermarket at your footsteps.

We had a wonderful stay at the New Orient Hotel. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The room and bathroom were both extremely clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. This was our first time staying in this area of Paris and we enjoyed the neighbourhood. It is walkable, with many restaurants and easy access to the metro. The street is also quiet in the evening so we were not bothered by noise from outside. Our only small suggestion would be to perhaps adjust the locking mechanism on the room doors as we needed to close the door quite firmly to get it to lock properly and we did not want to disturb the other guests by doing so.

I love staying at this hotel. It is in a great location with the metro just down the road. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a gorgeous boulangerie (bakery) on the corner for a coffee and morning croissant. You can also find a couple of supermarkets close by and a laundromat across the road. I have travelled here solo and another with family and have felt safe and welcomed. I would definitely recommend New Orient Hotel while staying in Paris.

Fantastic
We stayed here for four nights. The welcome and service throughout our stay was superb. The hotel is in a good location and close to restaurants, shops etc. It is about 10-15 minute walk to St Lazare railway station which was handy for our trip to Versailles. It is 25-30 minute walk to Moulin Rouge and Monmarte. Breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel .

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Rooms aren’t big, but all good. Good location, 20 mins walk to Monmarte, 30 mins to Arc de Triomphe. Handy mini supermarket opposite if like us you want a cheap DIY breakfast before embarking upon your day and the expense of Paris. Handy little bar a couple of doors up and takeaway a few doors down should you not want to go further a field after your day out.

Delightful small hotel, lovely room with a balcony. Out of the way in the 8eme but with several nearby Metro stations, which made accessing the centre of paris very easy. We thought it a little expensive for what it was but nonetheless were very pleased to have stayed three nights. PS. the bath/showers would bennefit from having a rubber mat to prevent slips.
